The Aku NS564 Spider (mark 2) originally developed for the US Navy Seal’s who were conducting maritime operations boarding vessels then with the possibility of being re-tasked to land operations. AKU have used all of their knowledge & experience from the outdoor market to produce a military boot for hot climates.
The NS564 features include a non gore-tex Air 8000 upper materials that provide high levels of comfort in high temperatures and also allows water to drain after being fully submerged in water, a sanifit lining that wicks moisture, a Vibram Swot outsole providing excellent grip when climbing obstacles, flat sole area on the toe to allow extra friction and a tough Bycast Rand that offers added protection on rocky undulated terrain.
All this coupled together makes this boot excellent for military and police operations.
