Royal Navy Swords

The Royal Navy Commissioned Officers' Sword by Ammo & Co stands as one of the most recognisable symbols of British military service - a mark of authority, honour and naval tradition since the early 19th century. Each sword is handcrafted to UK MoD ceremonial specification, combining historic design with the precision and balance expected by serving officers of the Royal Navy and Commonwealth navies.

The blade and tang are forged in one piece from steel, hardened and tempered to within 400-500 HV to achieve exceptional strength and resilience. The 795mm polished steel blade is complemented by a series of gold-plated brass fittings, including the guard, falldown, mullet, backpiece and ferrule, each hot-stamped or cast and hand-finished.
